This site was created as an outlet for my thoughts and writing. I have always been more concerned with the truth of the subject matter,  writing the facts and the truth versus the puff.

Working in the automotive industry for more than thirty years has provided me with a plethora of experience, insight, images, and stories to write about. 

An ASE Certified Master Auto Technician, Richard has spent more than 30 years in the automotive industry. Owning and running a highly successful import performance shop for the past 20 years and counting, Richard has seen the highs and lows of steering a business through the worst of financial times, ever-changing technology, and tightening environmental requirements. 

With a BA in Liberal Studies and minors in English and Classics, Richard can offer a unique perspective across multiple technical industries.
